What this division does
- Crude oil, refined petroleum products and lubricants for counterparties trading outside the United Arab Emirates, under the abroad-trading permissions held on our licence.
- Middle distillates are quoted as EN 590 automotive gasoil at the sulphur grade the destination market requires — 10 ppm, 50 ppm or 500 ppm — rather than as an unqualified "diesel".
- Aviation fuel is quoted as Jet A-1 against Def Stan 91-091 and ASTM D1655, the two specifications every airline and into-plane operator recognises.
- Residual and marine fuels follow ISO 8217, including RMG 380 and 0.50 percent sulphur VLSFO for vessels operating under the IMO sulphur cap.
- Bitumen is quoted by penetration grade to EN 12591, supplied in bulk or drummed, and base oils by API group and viscosity designation.
- Every offer states product, specification, quantity, Incoterms, load and discharge ports, and a validity period in writing — nothing is left to be assumed on a phone call.
- Quality and quantity are determined by an independent inspection company at load port wherever the trade requires it.

Which Incoterms do you quote on?
Offers are made on the Incoterms 2020 rules. FOB and CIF are the most common for seaborne cargoes; EXW and FCA apply to packaged goods. The applicable rule is always stated in writing on the offer rather than assumed.
How is quality and quantity determined?
By an independent third-party inspection company appointed at load port, with certificates of quality and quantity issued against the agreed specification. Where the contract requires it, discharge-port inspection is arranged as well.
Do you deal in "D2", "D6" or "JP54"?
No. Those are informal designations that do not correspond to any published refinery specification, and their use is widely treated as a red flag in the petroleum trade. We quote only against recognised standards such as EN 590, ASTM D1655 and ISO 8217.
What information do you need to price an enquiry?
Product and specification, quantity, delivery basis and destination port, required delivery window, and preferred payment instrument. Enquiries containing all five receive a written offer fastest.
